Alger Launches International Small Cap Fund (Ticker: AFAIX) to Harness the Growing Momentum in International Small Caps

NEW YORK, July 1, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Fred Alger Management, LLC ("Alger"), a privately held $26.3 billion growth equity investment manager, today announced the launch of the Alger International Small Cap Fund (Ticker: AFAIX), which is sub-advised by Redwood Investments, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Alger.

The Alger International Small Cap Fund primarily invests in a focused portfolio of approximately 50 equity securities of small cap companies located outside of the U.S. It will be managed by Redwood's Mike Mufson, Co-Founder and CIO, Ezra Samet, and Don Smith.
