Allegiant Rolls Out the Red Carpet for Idaho Falls!

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho, April 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Allegiant Travel Company (Nasdaq: ALGT) and its subsidiary low-cost airline, Allegiant Air, LLC, today announced new, nonstop jet service to Los Angeles from Idaho Falls, Idaho will begin June 3. The company known for its great travel deals will offer Southeast Idaho residents the star treatment with fares as low as $49.99* one-way and a FREE** night hotel stay at Allegiant preferred hotels in the popular, sunny Southern California region. Today only, the airline is also offering an extremely limited number of fares as low as $19.99*** one-way to/from Los Angeles.

The new flights will operate two times weekly between Idaho Falls Regional Airport (IDA) and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) with service Thursday and Sunday. Beginning June 3, flights will depart Idaho Falls at 1:45 p.m. arriving in Los Angeles at 2:55 p.m. Flights leaving Los Angeles will depart at 9:55 a.m. arriving in Idaho Falls at 1:05 p.m. (all flight times are local).  Allegiant Air began nonstop service from Idaho Falls to Las Vegas Nov. 11, 2005.

The airline commented market research and input from local community leaders indicate Southeast Idaho will welcome the new nonstop flights and low fares to Los Angeles. Allegiant will utilize 150-seat, MD-80 series, jet-aircraft on the route.
