Allen Edmonds Spreads Awareness of Movember with the #ShoeStache

PORT WASHINGTON, Wis., Nov. 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Allen Edmonds, US premium men's shoe manufacturer headquartered in Port Washington, Wis., is joining the Movember movement in a uniquely Allen Edmonds way – with shoe staches!

Growing a mustache for "Movember" has become an extremely popular annual practice to raise awareness of men's health issues, including illnesses from mental health to prostate cancer, and associated charities.

Here's how to participate:

1. There are free shoe-kilties available at each Allen Edmonds store location for you to take home. Pick up a set of kilties and snap a picture of your "ShoeStache" on your shoes.
2. Post your photo to Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag #ShoeStache. We'll display all photos in our hashtag gallery on our new Allen Edmonds Blog at blog.allenedmonds.com.
3. Wear your kilties to work or out with friends and tell people about the Movember campaign to grow awareness of the cause. Pass along your kilties to friends and family to join in. The more, the merrier.
4. Please consider making a donation to your favorite men's health research foundation. We've created a team on the Movember website where you can submit your contribution.
