Alliance to Save Energy Board Member Fred Stephan Joins GridPoint Board of Directors
Experienced senior executive from Johns Manville provides leadership for continued strategic growth
ARLINGTON, Va., Feb. 24, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- GridPoint, Inc., a recognized leader in energy management and sustainability solutions that help customers maximize operational and energy savings, today appointed Fred Stephan, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Insulation Systems at Johns Manville and 18-year veteran of General Electric, to the Company's Board of Directors.

In addition to his current role, he has served in several other leadership positions at Johns Manville including Vice President and General Manager of Roofing Systems and Vice President, Information Technology and Business Process Simplification. During Mr. Stephan's 18-year tenure at General Electric, he held such vital roles as President and CEO of GE Lighting Systems Inc., among others. Fred is also the current Chairman of the North American Insulation Manufacturers Association based in Washington, DC.
