CHARLOTTE, N.C., Sept. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Kate Burke, chief executive officer of Allspring Global Investments™ (Allspring), a global asset management firm with more than $642 billion in assets under advisement,* has been named by Pensions & Investments (P&I) to its 2026 Influential Women in Institutional Investing list. Hannah Rosencrantz, portfolio specialist on Allspring's Global Fixed Income team, has also been recognized by P&I as a 2026 Rising Star.

The annual P&I program recognizes women whose leadership, influence, and contributions are helping shape the institutional investing industry. The Rising Stars program recognizes emerging leaders who are already making a meaningful impact across their organizations and the broader investment industry.

Since becoming CEO in July 2025, Kate Burke has continued to accelerate Allspring's transformation as an independent asset manager, with a focus on strengthening the firm's investment platform; expanding client choice across vehicles and channels; and leveraging data, technology, and AI to enhance the client experience. She joined Allspring in 2023 as president and serves as a director on the company's Board.

Kate Burke has more than two decades of asset management industry experience. Prior to joining Allspring, she served in several senior leadership roles at AllianceBernstein, including chief operating officer and chief financial officer. She earned a bachelor's degree in economics from the College of the Holy Cross and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Her work helps investment professionals focus more of their time on managing assets while strengthening the team's ability to deliver high-quality content, insights, and service to clients and partners. She earned a bachelor's degree in marketing from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
