Ally Financial Teams Up With Carl Black Automotive Group to Provide School Supplies to Georgia Military Families

ATLANTA, July 21, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- To honor the brave men and women of the U.S. armed forces, Ally Financial has teamed up with Carl Black Automotive Group to provide $10,000 worth of backpacks and school supplies to children of Georgia military personnel.

In cooperation with Operation Homefront Georgia and National Charity League Northeast Atlanta, approximately 1,000 backpacks and essential school supplies will be delivered to children of Active Duty and National Guard military personnel from the state of Georgia.  

Military families will be on-hand at Carl Black Buick GMC of Roswell, Ga. on Sat., July 23 for children to pick up their fully-stocked backpacks and enjoy a variety of family entertainment activities being conducted at the dealership from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. EDT.

Military vehicles will be on display and attendees can enjoy live music, games and refreshments. In addition, two steel beams from the World Trade Center will also be on display for visitors to view.
