ALP believes a tailored, comprehensive care plan with a dedicated clinical team allows children and their family units to experience the most progress possible.

"We're thrilled to expand our services to a new center in West Springfield, opening on February 28^th. The center will incorporate a brand new model of center-based support for autistic children and children with neurodevelopmental differences. This comprehensive, play-based ABA program for young learners (ages 2-5) embeds a proprietary curriculum into a fun and engaging routine that prepares each child for success in a preschool, daycare, or kindergarten setting after graduation," noted Kate Aucoin, M.A., BCBA, LABA, Executive Director at ALP. "The developmentally sequenced curriculum goals incorporate the latest evidence-based research and span a range of support areas, focusing on communication, social and play skills, and skills related to planning, following schedules, and problem solving."

With a balance of 1:1 instruction and facilitated peer interaction at the center, children will learn the critical skills to be successful in group and community settings. ALP behavior technicians love this new model and so do their clients! ALP looks forward to bringing this model to their new West Springfield center.
