Altai Super WiFi(TM) Unwires the "One Million Youth Gathering" Event in Malaysia - Second Year in the Role Since 2011

HONG KONG, May 29, 2012 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Altai Technologies, a carrier-grade Super WiFi equipment supplier, today announced that it successfully provided the WiFi connectivity for the second annual One Million Youth Gathering in Kuala Lumpur of Malaysia from May 23 - 27, 2012 to over 2 million visitors.  Aiming to become the top 10 best carnivals in the world involving youths, there were 500 events held in the One Million Youth Gathering 2012 consisting of 38 segments in sports & recreation, arts & culture, skill & leadership as well as information technology & entrepreneurship.

The five-day carnival themed "Jutaan Peluang Ribuan Keriangan" (Millions of opportunities, Thousands of Fun) was held in Putrajaya and attracted over 2 million visitors.  To cater for the high number of concurrent user and to cover the 6km stretch where the events were held, a total of 25 units of A8 series Super WiFi Base Stations were installed along the venue on the top of selected buildings stretching between Putrajaya Mosque and the Attorney General Chambers buildings passing through Precinct 1, 2, 3 & 4 of the Malaysia Administration Centre.
