Altair 2014 Global ATC/ATCx Series Offers Advanced Topics in Simulation and Optimization

TROY, Mich., June 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Altair announced its 2014 Global Altair Technology Conference (ATC) and ATCx Series today.  ATC events will continue to cover a wide array of topics, industries, and computer-aided engineering domain areas, and last for two to three days.  The new ATCx designation has been created for smaller, focused one-day events that offer more depth in a specific topic and/or industry.  ATCx topics to be explored include aerospace, multiphysics, lightweighting, energy, automotive, marine, heavy industry/machinery, shipbuilding, marine/offshore, and defense.  In addition, several locations will also offer concurrent student seminars, bringing together academic researchers and industry practitioners to share best practices and lessons learned.  Flagship ATC events will be held June 24-26 in Germany, July 10-11 in China, and July 17-18 in Japan.
