Altec Lansing Makes New Executive Hire for Asia and Continues to Innovate with Premium Audio Products

SAN DIEGO, Oct. 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, audio innovator Altec Lansing announced the key executive hire of Rudy Pantoja as General Manager of Operations in Asia where he will play an integral role in the structuring of the company's presence in the region. Pantoja's hire emphasizes Altec Lansing's continued commitment to high-end audio innovation with improved technology and efficiency.

As General Manager, Pantoja will be responsible for supplier management, quality control and procurement in Asian markets. Additionally, Pantoja will have a hand in driving the development and production of new products including speakers, docking solutions, headphones and networked audio solutions. Pantoja brings 24 years of management experience in the areas of quality, manufacturing and project management along with 13 years of experience managing China-based finished goods assemblers and sub-tier suppliers to his new role at Altec Lansing where he will report to Brendon Stead, Vice President, Product and Engineering.
