Chernikoff has over a decade of experience in marketing and public relations. She began her career at the University of Michigan Health System where she developed her passion for healthcare. She then spent four years at the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) where she drove communications strategy for the organization's certification programs and student membership initiatives.

Before joining the Amendola team, Chernikoff served as the director of marketing at Procured Health where she spearheaded the company's marketing and PR efforts. While at the Chicago-based healthcare IT startup, she launched an integrated marketing and communications strategy with an emphasis on content creation and thought leadership, and secured countless media placements. Prior to Procured Health, Chernikoff served as the head of marketing at Chicago-based healthcare IT company, Strata Decision Technology, where she first connected with the Amendola Communications team as a client.
