WOODLAND HILLS, Calif., Jan. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- American Exhibitions, Inc., based in Boca Raton, Fla., has engaged JMPR Public Relations as its agency of record to handle its media relations initiatives for the launch of its Mummies of the World exhibition, making its international debut this summer.
JMPR will be responsible for a media relations campaign that explores the historical and scientific stories of the mummies giving insight into the lives, cultures and time-periods of these real people who came before us.
Mummies of the World will create a window into a fascinating process that has transcended through more than 3,000 years and will dispel the notion that all mummies hail from Egypt and are wrapped in gauze. This monumental exhibit, which was announced in 2009 by American Exhibitions, Inc., will gather specimens from the four corners of world to assemble as the largest traveling collection of mummies to date.
Details about the first city to host the exhibit, including final venue selection, will be announced in February.
JMPR will work with the local and regional media to attract attention and create a broad regional awareness from tourists and educational institutions in an effort to compel people to buy tickets and drive the overall public image of the exhibition.
