BIRMINGHAM, Ala., April 29, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- American Family Care (AFC) announced today that William Koleszar is joining the company as Chief Marketing Officer. As a member of its Executive Management Team, Koleszar will lead a group of seasoned professionals focused on marketing strategy, advertising, digital media, public relations, and brand management for American Family Care, and its affiliated brands.

Previously, Koleszar served as Senior Vice President of Marketing for Retail Banking, Wealth Management and Commercial Banking at BBVA Compass, one of the 25 largest banks in the U.S. There he led a team responsible for conceiving, developing and executing marketing initiatives targeted to consumers, high net worth individuals and C-suite executives across more than 70 major markets in the U.S. Prior to joining BBVA Compass, Koleszar held senior leadership roles, including Senior Vice President of Marketing for Wealth Management and Director of Product Development for Citizens Bank (The Royal Bank of Scotland). Prior to RBS, Koleszar was Chief Marketing Officer for Vesdia Corporation, a venture-backed technology company that was acquired by Comvest, a private equity firm.
Koleszar has a bachelor's degree in marketing management from Florida State University, as well as a master's degree in business administration from the University of Central Florida. Continuing his post-graduate education, Koleszar also studied marketing strategy at Georgia State University and completed executive education courses in leadership, strategy and service excellence through Harvard Business School.
