Event Recognizes Health Care Stars' Achievements and Names Scholarship Award Winner

The event commemorated the achievements of the 2015 Colorado Health Care Star Award Winners and acknowledged each as an exceptional professional making a difference in the delivery of health care in Colorado.
Kate Hugo, BSN, RN, Valley View Hospital (Glenwood Springs) received a scholarship toward an accredited health care certificate or degree from American Sentinel University.

-Susan Clarke, APN, professional development specialist at the Children's Hospital Colorado (Aurora)
-Kate Hugo, BSN, RN, member of the Day Surgery Unit at the Shared Governance Program at Valley View Hospital (Glenwood Springs)
-Marcie Ludwig, clinical nurse educator at Children's Hospital Colorado (Aurora)
-Gentry Mansur, RN, BSN, MBA, CMSRN, director, medical/surgical/telemetry at Platte Valley Medical Center (Brighton)

Colorado Health Care Stars is a statewide health care professional award recognition program sponsored by American Sentinel University and CHA. The program was launched in February 2015 to acknowledge clinical professionals in Colorado who exceed expectations in the delivery of health care.
