The Society of Forensic Toxicologists (SOFT) is a professional organization that helps further the promotion and development of forensic toxicology, the use of toxicology – the study of adverse effects of drugs and chemicals on biological systems – in legal investigations involving poisoning and drug use. The SOFT annual meeting provides opportunities for those in the field to discuss research and trends.
