Scholz brings over two decades of education and technology leadership experience to Amira Learning. Her journey began in the classroom as a first-grade teacher and reading specialist, where she witnessed firsthand students struggling with early literacy and the need for intervention support for teachers. This led her to pursue advanced studies in early reading intervention and computer science, helping to shape her commitment to improving literacy outcomes at scale. Scholz has held executive marketing and operations positions at leading education companies including Curriculum Associates, Imagine Learning, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt and Wiley, where she drove innovation in digital learning solutions and operating excellence.

Her passion in education has led her to serve on multiple education-focused boards, including Reach Out and Read and Subject, that further demonstrate her ongoing commitment to literacy and educational equity.
