Ammo.com Donates Over $12,000 to Pro-Freedom Organizations

HARVEY, La., March 4, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- The numbers are in! Throughout 2019, Ammo.com voluntarily donated $12,466.83 to pro-freedom organizations and charitable causes through the company's Freedom Fighter Support program. The Freedom Fighter Support program allows Ammo.com's customers to choose from one of 16 patriotic and freedom-focused groups to have a portion of their purchases donated to without any additional cost to the customer.

Last year, the top contributions included $3,669.55 to the National Rifle Association, $2,167.33 to Wounded Warriors in Action Foundation, $1,942.99 to Homes for Our Troops, $1,720.99 to the Second Amendment Foundation and $1,072.20 to the Armed Citizens' Educational Foundation. Eleven other charitable foundations received funds through the Freedom Fighter Support program.

Ammo.com's marketing manager, Alex Horsman, said of the donation, "We know our customers are patriots who care about their communities. That's why we developed the Freedom Fighter Support program." He continued, "By voluntarily donating a portion of each purchase to an organization of the customer's choice, we're deepening our own commitment to community involvement and support of the Second Amendment."

The Freedom Fighter Support program not only allows ammunition buyers to donate a percentage of their purchase to their favorite cause without spending additional money, but it also showcases freedom-oriented organizations that often get little national coverage, including Soldiers' Angels, the Electronic Frontier Foundation, and Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership. Other organizations that received funds through the Freedom Fighter Support program are the Foundation for Economic Education, Future of Freedom Foundation, Illinois State Rifle Association, Institute for Justice, Mises Institute, Friends of the NRA, Texas State Rifle Association Foundation, and the United Service Organization.

To date, Ammo.com has contributed over $100,000 through the Freedom Fighter Support program, supporting those who protect America's liberties, whether they take up their battle in the courtroom, the ballot box, the halls of a legislature, or in a war-torn nation.
