Andrew Baines Named Senior Vice President of Sales & Commercial Operations for SJE Engineered Control Solutions Division

Experienced commercial leader to drive growth across diverse markets

BIRMINGHAM, Ala., Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- SJE announced today the appointment of Andrew Baines as Senior Vice President of Sales & Commercial Operations for its Engineered Control Solutions (ECS) Division.

In his new role, Andrew will shape and execute the division's commercial strategy, with a focus on accelerating growth across its water and wastewater, original equipment manufacturer (OEM), and industrial markets.

Andrew will lead the division's multichannel commercial organization, encompassing direct sales, manufacturers' representatives, and channel partners. Working closely with Operations, Engineering, Marketing, and Product teams, he will focus on strengthening pipeline management and forecasting, advancing strategic pricing and quoting practices, improving quote-to-order velocity, and deepening relationships with customers and industry stakeholders.

Andrew brings more than three decades of global and regional leadership experience spanning sales, commercial operations, demand management, and customer service. Most recently, he served as SJE's Asia Pacific Sales Leader, overseeing business development, sales strategy, customer relationship management, market analysis, and brand development throughout the region.

Before joining SJE, Andrew spent more than 30 years with Flowserve. His roles included nine years as Vice President of Sales for Asia Pacific, where he led an approximately 200-person organization covering India, China, Southeast Asia, North Asia, Australia, and New Zealand.

Andrew also served as Flowserve's Director of Demand for its Industrial group in Dallas and as Director of Commercial Operations for Asia Pacific, with assignments in Singapore and Australia.

Throughout his career, Andrew has developed high-performing regional sales and customer-support organizations and implemented disciplined commercial processes involving strategic pricing, demand management, and sales, inventory, and operations planning. He has also led initiatives to improve sales effectiveness through consistent operating cadences, data-driven pipeline management, and adoption of a customer relationship management platform.

His experience encompasses complex, consultative business-to-business sales involving OEMs, engineering, procurement and construction firms, end users, and channel partners across both original equipment and aftermarket markets.

Andrew holds a Bachelor of Engineering with honors in Integrated Engineering from Nottingham Trent University in the United Kingdom and is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt. He will relocate to Birmingham, Alabama, and will be based at the ECS Revere facility. In the coming months, he will meet with teams throughout the ECS Division and engage with key customers to align commercial priorities for the remainder of 2026 and beyond.
