Ankura Appoints Block as Senior Managing Director and Harris as Managing Director

Ms. Jessica Block joins Ankura as Senior Managing Director and will lead the firm's data governance practice within the Regulatory & Contractual Compliance group. She has more than a decade of experience helping companies face complex information management challenges. Ms. Block specializes in applying technology to unlock the value of data and decrease the burden of compliance.  Ms. Block has led consulting efforts across the lifecycle of various litigations, arbitrations, investigations and transactions, including the regulatory investigations of a global pharmaceutical company and various actions related to the gulf oil spill investigation. She has led teams in the acquisition, review and production of large volumes of electronically stored information and fostered ongoing data management partnerships with multiple major corporations. Ms. Block was most recently with FTI Consulting.

Ms. Jessica Harris joins Ankura as Managing Director as part of the firm's Investigations & Accounting Advisory group. She has more than a decade of experience in derivatives regulation.  Ms. Harris has proven that she excels in investigation-oriented quantitative research design and analysis including statistical financial modeling.  During her time with the U. S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission's ("CFTC") Division of Enforcement, Ms. Harris conducted statistical analyses on large and diverse trading data to identify irregular trading patterns and market manipulation, written software programs to be utilized by CFTC agents to analyze trading data received by various futures exchanges, and developed programs to disseminate Division-wide manipulation analysis tools.
