Ann Taylor debuts This Is Ann, a video celebrating women who pave the way for the next generation
NEW YORK, March 1, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Ann Taylor celebrates over 60 years of inspiring women to put their best selves forward every day with the launch of a new video titled, This Is Ann. The video, which launches today, highlights generations of women and the moments— personal and universal— that unite them. As we approach National Women's History Month, this campaign also marks Ann Taylor's commitment to the next generation of women, with the opening of applications for the HERlead Fellowship on anntaylor.com.

This Is Ann is the product of an all-female creative team, including Grammy-nominated Meshell Ndegeocello who wrote and composed an original score for the video.
The This is Ann video coincides with the launch of the HERlead Fellowship application period (formerly known as the ANNpower Vital Voices Initiative). For the past six years, Ann Taylor and its sister brands have collaborated with Vital Voices Global Partnership, a non-governmental organization, to continue the HERlead Fellowship, which uses mentorship and leadership training to inspire the next generation of female leaders. This is Ann calls for those watching to apply or nominate a rising high school junior or senior with the passion to create positive change in her community. The application process is open through March 18th.
Since 2011, over 250 high school girls from across the U.S. have been trained, mentored and inspired to become the next generation of female leaders and 165 social impact projects have been funded through the HERlead Fellowship. This experience is designed to empower young women and equip them with the leadership skills they need to affect global progress, invest in their communities and begin their journeys as the next generation of leaders.
