Annie's® Expands Bernie's Farm® Line With Snacks and Microwavable Macaroni & Cheese Cup

BERKELEY, Calif., June 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Annie's (NYSE: BNNY) introduced four additions to its Bernie's Farm product line: Animal Cookies, Cheddar Crackers, Fruit Snacks and a Microwavable Macaroni & Cheese Cup. Underscoring the company's dedication to farmers and mission to connect kids to real food, the new products feature playful barnyard shapes, such as farm animals, tractors and carrots. The new brightly colored cookies, crackers and fruit snacks are colored with fruit and vegetable extracts such as beet, blueberry and carrot.

Bernie's Farm Animal Cookies' taste is reminiscent of traditional animal crackers but feature barnyard shapes and are brightly colored with fruit and vegetable extracts. Made with organic wheat, each serving provides 130 calories, 1g fiber, 2g protein and 8g of whole grains. Bernie's Farm Animal Cookies will be available in 6.75 oz. boxes at grocery and natural retailers nationwide with an SRP of $2.99-$3.99 per box. They'll also be available in limited distribution in 6 oz. boxes containing six individual 1 oz. snack packs with an SRP of $2.99 and 5.5 oz. snack bags with an SRP of $2.25 per bag.

Bernie's Farm® Cheddar Crackers

Bernie's Farm Cheddar Crackers are deliciously cheesy.  Colored with fruit and vegetable extracts, the colorful crackers feature barnyard shapes like cows, tractors and carrots. They are made with organic wheat and 100 percent real cheese from cows not treated with the growth hormone rBSTⁱ. Each serving provides 150 calories, 1g fiber, 3g protein and 6g of whole grains. Bernie's Farm Cheddar Crackers will be available in 6.75 oz. boxes at grocery and natural retailers nationwide with an SRP of $2.99-$3.99 per box, and in 5.5 oz. snack bags with an SRP of $2.25 per bag in limited distribution.

Bernie's Farm Fruit Snacks, with natural strawberry, raspberry and orange flavors in each pack, are made with real fruit and vegetable juice and feature barnyard shapes. Bernie's Farm Fruit Snacks are certified organic, vegan and naturally gluten free. Like all of Annie's products, they contain no artificial flavors, synthetic colors, preservatives or high-fructose corn syrup. Each serving provides 70 calories, 0g trans-fat and 100% daily value of Vitamin C. Bernie's Farm Fruit Snacks will be available in limited distribution in 4 oz. boxes containing five individual pouches with an SRP of $3.69 per box.

Bernie's Farm® Microwavable Macaroni & Cheese Cup

Bernie's Farm Microwavable Macaroni & Cheese Cup comes with fun farm shapes and is the newest addition to the Microwavable Macaroni & Cheese Cup line, launched in 2013. Made with rBST-free cheese, organic pasta, 8 grams whole grains per serving and no artificial flavors, synthetic colors or preservatives, Annie's Macaroni & Cheese Microwavable Cups are convenient for a quick meal or snack.
