Annual Real Estate and Construction Industries "A Winter's Evening" Dinner-Dance on Dec. 10 Raises Over $3 Million for Nation's #1 Respiratory Hospital

NEW YORK, Dec. 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Marc Holliday, Chief Executive Officer of SL Green Realty Corp., was the evening's honoree as he was presented the National Jewish Health® 2011 Humanitarian Award on December 10 during the Real Estate and Construction Industries' Winter's Eve Gala at the Grand Hyatt New York. The event raised over $3 million to establish the Holliday Memorial Fund for Lung Cancer Research, which provides care for lung cancer patients and supports lung cancer research.           

The 1,300 guests included luminaries from the real estate industry. Dinner leadership is a reflection of the broad support that National Jewish Health has enjoyed for decades from the New York real estate community. The hefty roster of executive and dinner committee members was led by dinner chairmen Stephen L. Green and Andrew W. Mathias. Honorary chairman was Morton Holliday.
