Lubell, Esq. and Mark Rosen, Esq. are pleased to announce that Anthony Hearn, Esq. has joined the firm as partner; and Lori A. Sochin, Esq. has joined the firm as of counsel. Hearn's practice focuses on the representation of health care providers, provider groups, behavioral health systems, and other entities involved in the health care industry. He assists both participating and non-participating providers across the nation involved in claims payment and reimbursement disputes.

He uses his thorough understanding of revenue cycle management, contract strategy and negotiations with insurers/managed care organizations or networks, pre-suit management of payment and reimbursement issues, alternative pricing and reimbursement mechanisms, pricing strategies, and billing and documentation disputes, as well as regulatory matters, to develop legal theories for recovery in complex commercial reimbursement cases. Hearn litigates on behalf of his clients in both state and federal court.

A resident of Miami, Hearn is admitted to practice in all of Florida's state courts, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. He holds a J.D. with honors from University of Miami School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. He volunteers his time in the South Florida community, sitting on the Board of Directors for the South Florida chapter of Arts for Learning (A4L).

With more than 24 years of experience as an attorney, Sochin joins Lubell Rosen's health care litigation and commercial litigation practices.  She was a shareholder in the litigation practice group at Greenberg Traurig, LLP before founding her own firm in 2013, where she remains the principal. Marrying her legal skills to her business experience as a buyer with the Eckerd Drug Company before she became a lawyer gives her a distinctive perspective on solving her clients' legal problems while keeping focus on her clients' overarching business objectives. Sochin gets great satisfaction in helping her clients resolve business disputes, but she gets greater satisfaction when she can use her skills to counsel her clients to avoid those disputes in the first place.

She is admitted to practice in all of Florida's state courts, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.

She graduated with high honors from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in Gainesville, Florida; and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration also from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida.

A resident of South Miami, Sochin is active in her community and the legal community. She is a Director of the Dade County Bar Association, having held chair and vice chair positions on a variety of committees during the past 20 years. As a member of the American Bar Association, she also held several chair, co-chair and vice chair positions with various Section of Litigation committees over the years.
