LONDON, Oct. 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Aon Risk Solutions, the global risk management business of Aon plc (NYSE: AON), calls on risk decision makers to take part in the fourth Global Risk Management Survey. As the most comprehensive global research report of its kind, Aon's Global Risk Management Survey is expected to double its response rate to receive feedback from 2,000 risk decision makers, helping organizational leaders see an even clearer picture of today's risks.

The deadline to participate in the 25-minute survey is Monday, Nov. 12. Survey participants will receive the full survey results as well as a customized report benchmarking their organization against peers by industry, geography and size. This insight can help business leaders identify approaches that may improve the effectiveness of their own risk management strategies. In addition, participants will be entered for a chance to win one of 20 Manchester United signed jerseys1.

The biennial survey covers a number of topics, including:

  • Top risk concerns facing companies today and in the future
  • Risk management approaches and board involvement
  • Risk management function
  • Risk transfer and insurance markets
  • Risk financing

"Having a complete understanding of your organization's risks allows you to take appropriate action to reduce losses and makes your organization a better risk to insure," said Stephen Cross, chairman of Aon Global Risk Consulting. "Aon is committed to using our global network and insight to provide businesses with industry-leading insight and solutions."

The results will be released at the 2013 RIMS convention in Los Angeles.
