AppDynamics Nabs Industry Veteran Joe Sexton as President to Support Exponential Growth

Responsible for the company's entire line of go-to-market functions— Sales, Marketing, Business Development, and Customer Success—Joe will put his sights on scaling the company's revenue and sales infrastructure to support the company's aggressive growth targets in 2013 and beyond.

Prior to joining AppDynamics, Joe was the Executive Vice President of Global Sales at McAfee, Inc., where he was responsible for $2.5 billion in annual sales and managed an organization of 2,000 people. Under his leadership McAfee doubled its sales, resulting in a $7.7 billion acquisition by Intel last year. Before joining McAfee, Joe served as Senior Vice President of the Americas at Mercury Interactive, where he helped triple sales to $1 billion by establishing Mercury's leadership in the Enterprise market. While there, Hewlett Packard acquired Mercury Interactive for $4.5 billion in 2006. Joe has also held executive sales positions at EMC, Integrated Concepts, and CA Technologies.
