ArborCrowd Makes Key Executive Appointments Amid Steady Growth

The new appointments will accelerate the growth of ArborCrowd as the company launches new deals in cities across the country.

As VP, Marketing Communications, Kara leads the development and execution of ArborCrowd's marketing and communications strategy. She is responsible for ensuring that all content is aligned with the company's vision, building customer demand and increasing brand awareness.

Kara joins the company from BlackBerry Limited where she headed corporate communications and led a global team focused on public relations, social media, events and internal communications. During this time, Kara was responsible for transitioning BlackBerry's reputation and corporate viability from a mobile hardware provider to a mobile software and security company. Prior to BlackBerry, Kara was at IBM where she helped drive communications for the company's Smarter Planet initiative. Before IBM, she was at Burson-Marsteller, one of the world's leading public relations and communication firm, where she led global programs for Hewlett-Packard.

Ethan Hays

As VP, Marketing Automation, Ethan is responsible for executing lead-generation and lead-nurturing initiatives as part of ArborCrowd's integrated marketing and business strategy.

"Ethan has a deep understanding of data analytics and online marketing, which combined with his proven track record of building strategic lead-generation programs for startups makes him the perfect addition to ArborCrowd's executive team," said Kaufman. "He is also a proven expert at using data to develop and optimize digital solutions that drive campaign ROI to influence target audiences, particularly in previously untapped markets."

Ethan joined ArborCrowd from gyro, a leading marketing and advertising agency, winner of Ad Age's 2016 Global B2B Agency of the Year. At gyro, Ethan was Head of Performance Marketing for clients, including SAP, Philips 66 and TD Ameritrade. During his time at gyro, he developed the teams, business processes and analytical rigor that positioned gyro to be acquired by Dentsu Aegis. Ethan was one of gyro's most visible thought leaders, contributing to Fortune, Forbes and Digiday, and speaking at conferences including Internet Week and Digital Summit. Prior to gyro, Ethan spent 12 years in Silicon Valley running growth marketing for technology startups.
