The practice, located in the Hampton Village Plaza Medical Center at the corner of Hampton and Chippewa, marks the milestone in September 2026.

Dr. Brian R. Judd, DDS, MS, has served as the practice's endodontist since Archway Endodontics opened in September 2021, and he purchased the practice in August 2023. That continuity means patients and referring dentists across the St. Louis area have worked with the same specialist throughout the practice's entire history. Archway Endodontics focuses exclusively on endodontics, the branch of dentistry devoted to treating the interior of the tooth and the tissue surrounding the roots.

Dr. Judd earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Colorado Denver, then practiced for five years as a general dentist in the Wichita, Kansas area. It was during those years that he decided to specialize, drawn by a desire to help patients in pain and to develop exceptional skill in one discipline of dentistry rather than being broadly proficient across many. He completed his endodontic residency at Saint Louis University's Center for Advanced Dental Education, where he served as chief resident and earned a Master's degree in Dentistry through two additional years of training beyond dental school.

Dr. Judd's master's thesis research included one of the first clinical trials of the GentleWave System, an advanced technology used in root canal treatment. He has also been invited to deliver the keynote address to the Greater St. Louis Dental Society, an organization spanning five districts and more than 1,000 general dentists. His presentation addresses the link between root canal therapy and quality restorative dentistry, and the partnership between general dentists and endodontists that produces the strongest outcomes for patients.
