Are You A Live! Star? Contestant Video Submissions Are Still Being Accepted For The Live! Stars Singing Competition At Maryland Live! Casino

HANOVER, Md., March 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Get discovered at Maryland Live! Casino during the annual LIVE! STARS singing competition at Rams Head Center Stage, where contestants will compete for the Grand Prize of $10,000 Cash and two days of FREE studio recording time at the legendary Wright Way Studios in Baltimore.

Interested contestants are encouraged to submit a video of their best "a capella" singing performance and apply online NOW through March 20, 2015, on the contest page at www.marylandlivecasino.com.

From March 23 - 31, the public is invited to vote online at www.marylandlivecasino.com for their favorite performance. The Top 100 artists who receive the most votes will be invited to perform live each week from April 6 – June 15 at the hottest entertainment venue in the region, Rams Head Center Stage at Maryland Live! Casino. These live preliminary rounds of competition will be held every Monday at 7:00pm.

The winners will be selected by a panel of expert judges, including Kacey Williams, of Black Alley; Jimi Haha, of Jimmie's Chicken Shack; and Maryland Live! Casino Entertainment Manager Malachai Johns; however, each week, a "fan favorite" will be determined by audience vote.

Then, the Top 10 artists and fan favorites will move on to compete in the Semi-Finals on Saturday, June 20 at 7:00pm, with the final three artists competing for the Grand Prize on Saturday, June 27 at 7pm.

The Grand Prize winner will be named the "2015 Live! Stars Champion" and receive $10,000 Cash, plus 16 hours of free studio recording time at the legendary Wright Way Studios in Baltimore. The runner-up will receive $5,000 Cash and eight (8) hours of free studio recording time at Wright Way Studios. Third prize is $2,500 Cash.
