HOUSTON, May 31, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Global energy and commodity price reporting agency Argus today announced the acquisition of Jim Jordan & Associates (JJ&A), a provider of price reporting and market intelligence to the methanol and transportation fuels markets.
JJ&A was founded in 2003 by Jim Jordan and Marybeth Maloy Gebauer, both of whom are widely regarded in the petrochemicals industry for their experience and expertise. JJ&A brings a depth of knowledge to the methanol and transportation fuels markets that is anchored in experience and understanding of related commodities markets. JJ&A is a natural fit for the expanding Argus portfolio."
Jim Jordan added: "We are delighted to join forces with Argus as it deepens its petrochemical coverage. Argus' global coverage of various commodities markets will provide support for enhanced services that will benefit the industry."
