Aria Care Partners Names New Podiatry Chief Medical Officer

OVERLAND PARK, Kan., Sept. 24, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Aria Care Partners has named Veda Lewis-Simmons, DPM, MHA to the position of chief medical officer of podiatry. The role is responsible for operational effectiveness and clinical quality of the company's onsite podiatry services for skilled nursing facilities (SNF).

Dr. Lewis-Simmons earned both a master's degree in healthcare administration and a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery from Des Moines University Medicine and Health Sciences. She completed her residency at University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and is board certified.

In addition to operating her own mobile foot care practice, Dr. Lewis-Simmons became the owner and executive director of Attentive Adult Day Center in Missouri in 2018. Previously, she served as associate medical director at U.S. Medical Management (now HarmonyCares), a home-based care organization, where she supervised medical staff, helped develop clinical guidelines, and strengthened community relations. Dr. Lewis-Simmons also spent many years building and leading successful surgical private podiatry practices throughout Missouri.
