SAN RAMON, Calif., July 5, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Armanino McKenna LLP is pleased to announce a major expansion of its QlikView practice with the merging in of Factory Information Management Solutions Inc., a certified solutions provider of QlikView business intelligence technology.
As the largest CPA and consulting firm headquartered in California, Armanino McKenna (www.amllp.com/consulting) is an award-winning partner and well-established leader in reselling and consulting services for the QlikView platform which enables users to search and analyze data from across their enterprise.
San Mateo-based Factory IMS is exclusively devoted to services for the QlikView solution and is led by John Horner, a renowned expert in business intelligence who partnered with QlikView at the company's inception. Factory IMS' merging of resources and capabilities into Armanino Consulting effective July 5th creates a dominant QlikView provider on the West Coast.
Business Intelligence platforms are one of the fastest growing software markets worldwide as organizations continue to search for greater insight that will enable them to cut costs and improve efficiency. Gartner Research recently ranked QlikView, provided by QlikTech Inc. of Radnor, Penn., as one of the leading business intelligence platforms.
"We aspire to be the dominant provider of QlikView platform in the marketplace," said Matt Armanino, COO and partner at Armanino McKenna. "We saw a tremendous opportunity to further that growth with the addition of another strong player in the space. John Horner and Factory IMS have been a go-to resource for QlikTech as it has developed its product offering and market presence. Bringing the Factory IMS team on board clearly sets Armanino Consulting apart from the competition."
Horner will join Armanino Consulting as Director of the QlikView practice for the firm. He said that Factory IMS customers – which include the sectors of retail, healthcare, technology and food & beverage – will experience a seamless continuity of service with the transition to the Armanino McKenna brand.
"We will continue to provide the same high-touch, high quality experience for our customers," said Horner, "but now we are part of a much bigger platform at Armanino Consulting that will allow us to provide even better service, more support, and explore greater opportunities to grow."
The expansion of Armanino Consulting's QlikView practice comes at a time when QlikTech, the maker of QlikView, is experiencing rapid growth itself. The company reported 2011 first quarter revenue up 44% from the same quarter last year.
"We are happy that we are seeing two premier QlikView partners in the marketplace join together to accelerate their business," said Peter McQuade, V.P. of Global Alliances and Partner Sales at QlikTech. "This demonstrates the opportunity for customers to achieve successful implementations and greater insight from QlikView's Business Discovery solutions."
