Ascent Aerospace Appoints Karthik Ganapathi to Customer Service Director
SANTA ANA, Calif., Aug. 18, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Ascent Aerospace has hired Karthik Ganapathi as Customer Service Director to lead end-to-end delivery of services for new and existing worldwide installations.
Ascent Integration & Automation Group was formed in 2014 to consolidate Ascent's design, controls, and automation expertise, following the acquisitions of Brown Aerospace, Flow Aerospace and AREVA TA's aerospace integration business. "Each of our businesses must deliver on our promise to reduce costs and increase efficiencies at our customers' production facilities," said Brian Williams, CEO of Ascent Aerospace. "We are making significant international investments in customer service and Karthik is our latest leadership hire," he continued.

Mr. Ganapathi joins Ascent Aerospace from Diebold, where he was the Vice President and Managing Director for South Asia and Australia. Under his stewardship, the region experienced record growth levels in both services and OEM business. He has extensive global experience covering US, Asia, Middle-East and Europe and has lived and worked in five countries. Mr. Ganapathi has an MBA from The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, a Master of Science in Materials Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Metallurgical Engineering from National Institute of Technology, India.
