Associates for Breast and Prostate Cancer Studies Honors Ann-Margret, Robert Wagner and Bill and Roseann Patterson at 24th Annual The Talk of the Town Gala

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Associates for Breast and Prostate Cancer Studies (ABCs) hosts its 24^th annual, star-studded Talk of the Town black-tie gala at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Nov. 23, 2013. Gala benefits breast and prostate cancer research at John Wayne Cancer Institute (JWCI) at Saint John's Health Center. Actress Ann-Margret will receive the Spirit of Entertainment Award, actor Robert Wagner will be honored with the Spirit of Hollywood Award and business leaders and community advocates Bill and Roseann Patterson will be presented the Spirit of Hope Award. ABCs President Gloria Gebbia and First Vice President Sheri Rosenblum co-chair the event, which features entertainment from award-winning R&B legends the O'Jays. Actress and comedian Kym Whitley will emcee.

The Associates for Breast and Prostate Cancer Studies was formed 24 years ago by a group of dedicated philanthropists. These individuals wanted to devote their charitable efforts and resources to eradicating cancer and unanimously chose to support progressive and innovative breast cancer and prostate cancer research at John Wayne Cancer Institute (JWCI).
