NEW YORK, May 5, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- AT&T* Advanced Advertising Solutions today announced the appointment of Michael Rosen as Vice President of Internet and Mobile Sales for AT&T Advanced Ad Solutions. Rosen brings a range of executive-level media and marketing industry expertise to AT&T's national internet and mobile adverting sales division. Rosen will report directly to Greg McCastle, Senior Vice President, Advanced Advertising Solutions.
In his new role, which is effective immediately, Rosen leads the national sales divisions of the digital and mobile units of AT&T Advanced Ad Solutions by guiding sales strategy and providing overall digital and mobile sales team management and leadership.
Rosen joins AT&T Advanced Ad Solutions after serving as President of Oggifinogi, a rich media advertising company. Prior to that, Rosen was a key player in the launch of Babelgum, a global web TV platform, where he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer. Rosen also previously served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of WeatherBug's Consumer Division, where he enhanced the company brand by opening access to WeatherBug's live local weather data to consumers anywhere and anytime; enabling brand marketers to reach an engaged audience. Under Rosen's leadership, WeatherBug received the 2007 ASPY award for Best Customer Service. Prior to this, Rosen served as Senior Vice President of Media Sales and Marketing for Bloomberg L.P., where he created the first formalized marketing department for Bloomberg Television and Radio and oversaw all online, radio, print and television advertising sales.
Rosen is an active member of various industry organizations, including the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB), where he previously served as the co-chair of the Sales Executive Council, iMedia and Upstream Group Seller Forum. He also currently serves on the Professional Development Council at Syracuse University's Newhouse School. Rosen has formerly been a member of the Ad Council Media Steering Committee, Cable Advertising Bureau (CAB), Association of National Advertisers (ANA) and the Cable and Telecommunications Association for Marketing (CTAM).
Rosen earned his master's degree in marketing from NYU's Stern School of Business and his undergraduate degree from Syracuse University.
