AT&T App Serves As Tempe Festival Of The Arts Guide

TEMPE, Ariz., Nov. 26, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, the Tempe Festival of the Arts and AT&T* announced the availability of its mobile web app for the 46^th Annual Fall Festival on Dec. 5-7. The mobile interface will serve as an informational hub for the nearly 225,000 attendees of the popular local arts event.

Sponsored by AT&T, the app is designed to maximize the festival experience for guests. Initially introduced at the 2014 Spring Festival, the easy-to-navigate app features a festival map and information on booths, artists, transportation, food and beverages, entertainment, and more.** Attendees can utilize the app by visiting tempefestivalofthearts.mobi from their mobile web browsers.

This festival, the app will have multiple new features, including:

• "Having a Great Time at TFA" Sweepstakes: Festival goers will be able to post photos of their favorite festival moments with the hashtag #funatTFA for a chance to win a coveted Tempe Festival of the Arts Commemorative Poster. The limited edition posters will feature artwork from photographer Shawn Harris.
• Chalk Art Contest: This festival will feature its first Chalk Art Contest, which will showcase the skills of 10 experienced chalk artists. With a new feature on the app, spectators will be able to vote on the experienced chalk artists and crown a "2014 Fall People's Choice" winner.
• Weekend Planner: Guests can now design their visit using the app's Weekend Planner to compile a list of the artists, attractions, food and more they'd like to experience. This feature allows them to track and check off each activity.
