AT&T Digital Life® and Habitat for Humanity Revitalize Communities in the U.S.

DALLAS, April 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- AT&T Digital Life ® and Habitat for Humanity are collaborating to rebuild and revitalize communities in the U.S. The effort will kick off in Atlanta on Thursday, April 10, with AT&T employee volunteers helping build a house alongside a Habitat homeowner family. This build is one of five that will take place, with future build events planned in Dallas, Los Angeles, New York and Seattle, thanks to a $150,000 donation from Digital Life to Habitat for Humanity.

"We're all about giving homeowners peace of mind. As a result, we're compelled to work with Habitat for Humanity to help those who need the security that owning a home can provide," said Kevin Petersen, senior vice president, Digital Life, Inc. "Giving back through home builds across the country and in our hometown of Atlanta feels right."

Digital Life will work with Habitat for Humanity to strengthen their goals and mission to help bring people together to build homes, communities and hope. Through this collaboration, Digital Life will donate $10,000 toward the construction of a new home in each of the five locations and will recruit more than 100 AT&T volunteers to participate in the builds.
