AT&T To Be The Exclusive Network Provider For MICA, My Intelligent Communication Accessory, Designed By Opening Ceremony And Engineered By Intel

LAS VEGAS, Sept. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- AT&T announced today an agreement with Intel to deliver wireless data service as the exclusive network provider for MICA, My Intelligent Communication Accessory. MICA, which was designed by Opening Ceremony and engineered by Intel, will be available at Barneys New York and Opening Ceremony by holiday 2014.

MICA is a premium feminine fashion accessory with communications capabilities that can be used for work or entertainment. It enables users to stay connected via SMS messages, meeting alerts, and general notifications without the need to pair with a smartphone.
