Auto Crane Set to Launch NexStarEH™ Crane Management System at the 2012 Global Petroleum Show
TULSA, Okla., June 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Auto Crane, a subsidiary and premier brand of Ramsey Industries, announced today that it will officially launch the NexStarEH™ Crane Management System at the 2012 Global Petroleum Show in Calgary, Alberta.
The patent-pending NexStarEH™ electric-hydraulic crane management system brings unprecedented proportional truck-mounted crane control to Auto Crane's 3203EH and 4004EH crane series, enabling operators to control multiple crane functions simultaneously and proportionally, fully independent of each other. The NexStarEH is a new extension of Auto Crane's crane management system specially designed for mechanics trucks.
Auto Crane pioneered its original NexStar system in 2010 for its large hydraulic cranes, introducing advanced control technology to industrial material handling, mining, construction and utility markets around the world. NexStar-equipped cranes are the only cranes in their class with load monitoring and load limiting controls, and a visual signal—vital capabilities when safety is paramount.
Available in tethered remote or the fully featured wireless FM, the NexStarEH provides operators the ability to proportionally operate the crane with 100 percent power at four speed settings. With an eight-button multi-speed control, the system is comprised of a transmitter, receiver and hydraulic valve bank. Wireless FM models include the advanced crane load management system similar to that of the NexStar II on large hydraulic cranes with features that include truck level and boom angle sensors, a status indicator light, and an LCD diagnostics display with plain text readouts.
