Aveniu Brands Names Andrew Mansinne President

BALTIMORE, June 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Aveniu Brands, a fine wine and spirits importer wholly owned by Spain's Codorniu Group, today announced the appointment of Andrew Mansinne to the position of President, effective June 1, 2010.  In his role, Mansinne will oversee the Aveniu Brands portfolio of wines and spirits, its sales and marketing organization as well as its operations, finance and administrative functions.

Mansinne has been involved in the wine and spirits industry for 25 years.  Prior to joining Aveniu Brands, Mansinne was Vice President, Marketing at Foster's Wine Estates, where he led a team of nearly 100 brand and consumer direct professionals, overseeing strategic and commercial activities and brand business processes for 44 brands.

Before joining Foster's, Mansinne spent twelve years at the Brown Forman Corporation, rapidly advancing through its divisions to become Senior Vice President, Managing Director after managing every wine business in the company's portfolio.  

Mansinne holds an M.B.A. from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and a B.A. with Distinction from the University of Virginia. Raised primarily in the Washington, D.C. area Mansinne currently resides in Dublin, Ohio with his wife and two daughters.
