AVENTURA, Fla, Nov. 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Aventura Mall, Miami's premier fashion destination, will awe and amaze visitors of all ages with Aventura Mall Holiday Memories, a multi-million dollar collection of brand new, spectacular holiday displays.

Aventura Mall's magnificent, all-new, Santa's Workshop is highlighted by a mountain of glistening, mirrored gift boxes stacked 60 feet high, adorned with cuddly 10-foot teddy bears, classic English-style rocking horses, 12-foot tall toy soldiers, and 13-foot candy canes. Designed by Venue Arts' Stephen Stefanou, the workshop is topped by a storybook 19th century sleigh pulled by eight pecan-colored reindeer, and a rotating, 14-point Millennium Star. Every hour, an elaborate, five-minute holiday light and sound show dazzles and enthralls visitors. Santa's Workshop is located on the lower level near Bloomingdale's.
At Nordstrom Court, prepare to be dazzled…again. There, a Twinkling Snowfall LED Installation invites shoppers to experience the sensation of being swept into the middle of a wintery snowfall that appears to be floating down through the skylight of the three-story atrium. Created by Snarkitecture, the continuous motion LED display lets visitors "feel" the snow being blown past their face as it falls…at first gently, then harder, seemingly accumulating on the ground. It's an immersive experience not to be missed.
Then they can strike a pose with Santa's reindeer positioned at three locations throughout the center. From selfies to group shots, the photo stations feature large, topiary reindeer sitting on lacquered red benches – the perfect fun photo to share with family and friends!
And, when the sun goes down, approximately one million white lights and 175 giant snowflakes spread a cheery glow over the entire center's exterior as Aventura Mall's Illumination brightens the night sky. Inside, kids of all ages enjoy Aventura's Model Train Station, a 16-by-29-foot display with multiple trains winding their way through a holiday village, amusement park, old-time mill, and snow-capped mountains.

Located at 19501 Biscayne Boulevard, Aventura Mall will open Thursday, Nov. 26, from 6 p.m. until Midnight, and Friday, Nov. 27, from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Extended holiday hours will run through Thursday, Dec. 24.
