Modern and conveniently located space reflects ongoing commitment to patients in Northern Virginia
WASHINGTON, Sept. 22, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Avesta Ketamine and Wellness (Avesta), the leading provider of monitored ketamine care in the Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia (DMV) area, announced today that it has opened a clinic in Tysons Corner, Vienna, Virginia. Located in the Towers Crescent business park, a modern, state-of-the-art and conveniently-located Class A building complex, the new space replaces Avesta's previous Northern Virginia-based clinic in McLean with a larger, modern and updated space that enables it to better serve its patients in the area. The move follows on the heels of the company expanding and opening its fourth clinic in the DMV area earlier this year, located in Columbia, Maryland.
"Since our founding in 2018, Avesta has been committed to bringing lifesaving and life-changing care to anyone struggling with debilitating mental health challenges, and for whom nothing else has worked," said Dr. Ladan Eshkevari, CRNA, PhD, FAAN, founder and co-CEO of Avesta. "Because many traditional mental health treatments can fail to provide relief – let alone rapid relief – there remains an abundant need for additional psychiatric options. With our science-backed and evidence-based monitored ketamine care, we can bring measurable relief to those struggling, without compromising patient safety."
The new clinic is located at 8000 Towers Crescent Drive, which is within walking distance of both the popular Tysons Corner Mall and Tysons Corner Metro. The space has five separate care rooms and will be staffed by Avesta's team of highly trained professionals, including nurse practitioners, integration coaches and care coordinators who are committed to providing the highest quality patient care. It will continue offering its IV ketamine therapy, FDA-approved Spravato™ therapy, ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP), and IV vitamins.
"Avesta was one of the very first ketamine clinics in Northern Virginia and since opening our first clinic here in 2019, we have been committed to offering unparalleled patient care and much-needed mental health treatments to the area's residents," said Deborah Tan, co-CEO of Avesta Ketamine and Wellness. "While we've seen other ketamine clinics come and go during the past six years, we are pleased to be doubling down on and growing our commitment to Northern Virginians on their wellness journeys. Tysons is a vibrant and growing part of town and is a great fit for our next chapter."
In addition to the new Tysons clinic, Avesta has clinics in Washington, D.C., Bethesda, Maryland and Columbia, Maryland.
