AVID Technical Resources Announces the Opening of Phoenix, AZ Office

BOSTON, Nov. 22, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- AVID Technical Resources announced today that the company is opening an additional office in Phoenix, AZ in December of this year.  The Phoenix location is the second branch opening in a month for AVID and is part of an aggressive multi-office, multi-state expansion plan that the company will be launching over the next year.

Heading up the AVID Phoenix office and driving the company's west coast expansion will be industry veterans Bruce Hegg and Shawn Brown.  "This is a very significant step for us," said Principal owner, Brian Tomasello.  "We're excited to have Bruce and Shawn on the AVID team as they bring over thirty years of combined experience and proven success."  Tomasello also adds, "The two will begin aggressively building out the AVID footprint on the west coast while we continue with our strategic expansion plans back east.  By the close of 2011, we anticipate adding an additional 2-3 offices on both coasts."

Bruce and Shawn have partnered on a number of joint ventures over a 10-year span, and are excited to partner with AVID on their aggressive west coast expansion initiative.  Both will be merging their own company's business - including their respective clientele in Las Vegas, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Orange County - immediately.  There are aggressive plans to open up offices in each location in the near future.

The office will be located at 60 E Rio Salado Parkway in Tempe Town Lake, AZ.  Just outside of Phoenix, AZ the Tempe location will provide IT staffing and consulting services to the neighboring states of Nevada and California as well.
