AVID Technical Resources Recognized As One of the Region's Fastest Growing Companies for the 3rd Straight Year

BOSTON, April 26 /PRNewswire/ -- The Boston Business Journal has named AVID Technical Resources as one of the region's fastest-growing private companies in its forth-annual Pacesetters awards. The honor recognizes the IT recruiting company's significant growth in revenue and over the past three years compared to other privately held companies in the area.

AVID Technical Resources made the Pacesetters list based on information gathered and assessed by the Boston Business Journal that detailed the company's performance from 2006 to 2009.  This is the 3rd consecutive year that AVID Technical Resources has made the list; making them one of the few companies in the state of Massachusetts ever to receive such an honor.

The Pacesetters list was determined by survey information gathered and analyzed by the Boston Business Journal from private companies throughout the Greater Boston region.  Based on the information provided, 60 companies were selected on their revenue growth between 2006 and 2009, which had to exceed at least $1 million as of 2006.
