Avondale Partners Adds Senior Professionals to Investment Banking Group

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Nov. 29, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Avondale Partners, a national investment banking and wealth management firm headquartered in Nashville, announced today the continued expansion of the investment banking group with the addition of F. Gordon Pollock, Jr. as Executive Managing Director and Dudley Baker as Vice President.  

Mr. Pollock is focused in the areas of Business Services and Education.  Before joining Avondale Partners, he was a managing director at Morgan Joseph from 2006 - 2010 where he was head of their Business Services and Education Industry Group.  From 997 to 2006 he was an investment banker with SunTrust Robinson Humphrey and its predecessor companies and a Managing Director in STRH's Business Services Group, serving as Head of its Middle Market Mergers and Acquisition Group.  Mr. Pollock holds a B.A. from Williams College, and an MBA, with distinction, from The Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.

Prior to joining Avondale Partners, Mr. Baker served as Vice President at Morgan Joseph, having previously worked for Modern Holdings, Inc., a private equity firm with investments in telecommunications and media.  He has held various positions in business development and strategic planning during his career.  Mr. Baker holds a B.A. from Rhodes College and earned his M.B.A. from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University.
