Held October 14–15 at the Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines, ALFC 2025 brings together the global rapid diagnostics ecosystem to exchange insights, spark collaborations, and advance the industry's most promising technologies. At the heart of this gathering is the ALFC Awards Program, designed to recognize standout contributions in four categories:
Innovation Award
Self-Nomination Only
This award honors individuals or teams who have introduced breakthrough products or technologies that expand the boundaries of lateral flow diagnostics. Finalists will present their work live during a high-profile pitch session at ALFC 2025, evaluated by a panel of strategics and investors in a Shark Tank-style format. A $10,000 cash prize and audience-voted honors will be awarded at the closing reception.
Lifetime Achievement Award
Nomination by Others Only
This distinction recognizes an individual or organization whose long-standing contributions have shaped the field and propelled the diagnostics industry forward. Nominees should demonstrate enduring impact, technical excellence, and industry leadership.
Leadership in Diagnostics Award
Nomination by Others Only
This award highlights visionary leadership in the commercial, strategic, or operational dimensions of lateral flow diagnostics. Honorees exemplify collaboration, foresight, and influence in advancing the field.
Poster Awards
No Nominations Accepted
Selected from among those presenting during ALFC 2025's expanded scientific poster sessions, these awards honor the most compelling and technically rigorous research.
