B2B Technologies Assists Zoo Atlanta with Cloud-Based Microsoft Exchange

ATLANTA, Aug. 16, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Zoo Atlanta has selected B2B Technologies, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and provider of IT consulting services, to manage the transition of its on-premise email system to Exchange Online, Microsoft's new cloud email and calendaring service.

A nonprofit organization seeking cost-effective methods in managing day-to-day operating costs, most notably the stewardship of more than 1,500 animals from around the world, Zoo Atlanta partnered with B2B Technologies to realize a cost savings of approximately 30 percent through migration from a previous in-house email solution to a cloud-based solution in the latest version of Microsoft Exchange. Information technology administrative services for the Zoo's email services and other applications are now provided over the Internet, reducing costs on its internal IT department and freeing its more than 100 full-time employees to focus resources on other needs.
