"Bachelor in Paradise" Couple Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert Announce Arrival of First "Ava Baby" to "Bachelor Nation"

SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 18, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Ava, a medical technology company focused on innovations in women's reproductive health, today announced the arrival of its first "celebrity baby" conceived with the help of its Ava fertility tracking sensor bracelet launched last summer – "Bachelor in Paradise" couple Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert's new baby girl born Thursday, August 17 at 10:03 am.

E! broke the story that Roper, 30, and Tolbert, 30, welcomed their first child and shortly afterward thanked Ava for helping them start their family. Jade started wearing the Ava bracelet in October, first posted about using Ava in November, and became pregnant in December. Tanner Tolbert says, "I'm so glad Jade started using the Ava bracelet to help make our dream of being parents a reality. How Ava Works

Ava is a sensor bracelet that uses new technology to precisely detect the fertile days during a woman's monthly cycle in real time. Worn only at night while sleeping, Ava measures nine physiological parameters including pulse rate, breathing rate, heart rate variability, temperature that, in combination, help indicate a rise in reproductive hormones estradiol and progesterone.
