Bacula Systems today announced that its Bacula Enterprise Edition solution has achieved SAP-certified integration with the SAP HANA® platform. The solution has been proven to interoperate with SAP HANA and now provides data centers with the ability to freely back up, recover, migrate, clone, replicate and copy data without being penalized for increased data volume by their backup software vendor.

The SAP® Integration and Certification Center (SAP ICC) has certified that Bacula Enterprise Edition 8.8 integrates with SAP HANA using standard integration technologies to deliver:

• Native integration with SAP HANA, allowing backup and restore without manual steps
• Ability to migrate from legacy databases to SAP HANA, using one backup and recovery platform
• Native integration with both public and private clouds
• Comprehensive deduplication capabilities
