Bank of the West Appoints Mary Borg as Executive Vice President, Head of Retail Branch Network & Strategy
SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 26, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Bank of the West today announced the appointment of Mary Borg to the position of Executive Vice President, Head of Retail Branch Network & Strategy, a role in which she will be responsible for leading the Bank's network of more than 500 branches as well as the group's National Sales Strategy team. Borg has over 25 years of financial services experience and has been with Bank of the West for the past 18 years. She will be based out of Bank of the West's Los Angeles office and will report to Ryan Bailey, Executive Vice President, Head of the Retail Banking Group.

Prior to this role, Borg served as the Bank's Executive Vice President, Southern California Division Executive.
Before joining Bank of The West, Borg spent time in a variety of roles at Sanwa Bank, California Federal Bank, Amplicon Financial, Whittier Area Federal Credit Union, Great Western Bank, Smith Barney and Merrill Lynch. Along with her responsibilities at Bank of the West, she is actively involved in organizations such as Junior Achievement, March of Dimes, Operation HOPE and the Los Angeles World Affairs Council. Borg is also dedicated to giving back to the community by serving on the Board of Directors for the California Bankers Association, the Alzheimer's Association of Orange County, the Los Angeles Economic Development Corporation, and is a member of the Executive Committee at Central City Association of Los Angeles.
