ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., March 1, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Bankers Financial Corporation (BFC), the St. Petersburg-based insurance, surety and business solutions company, announced a continuation of its associate sponsorship of the Ed Carpenter Racing (ECR) No. 21 Chevrolet, driven by Josef Newgarden, for the 2016 Firestone Grand Prix. The event will take place March 11-13, 2016 in the downtown streets of St. Petersburg, Fla. and marks the beginning of the 2016 Verizon IndyCar Series Championship.
